Socializing your dog

The best thing you can do for the happiness of your dog is to make him socialize. This way he will not be an angry dog at any moment, he will not be a danger to any other dogs or to other persons. By making him socialize he will be happier, he will play with other dogs, he will consume his extra energy and this way you will have a happier dog. You must do this when the puppy is still young because what he learns when he is young it is very difficult to undo and you will not do anything else that have more work to do with him.

If you puppy properly socialize he will not feel fear of anger, he will be calm and he will not represent a problem when you want to take him out or when he gets close to any other human beings. Unsocialized dogs usually bite because they are afraid or because they are easily to stress. This way, even the smallest chance of environment can mean a stressful thing for your dog and he will harm anyone around him even someone inside the family.   

The best socialization it is usually made when he is 12 weeks old but even after this age he must continue with the socialization so he can refine and retouch his behavior.

There are some things that you need to take in count when he socializes with other persons or dogs. If the first experience that he had with new elements it was an unpleasant one, it will be even harder to accomplish your mission.   

When you brought the puppy into your home leave him a couple of weeks to get used to the space and after this happens, call over some friends to meet him. This way he will be used to new persons inside you house and he will not jump to hurt the first person that enters your house. Also, take him with you in different places so he can learn not to take advantage and run whenever he is more free than usually.
